When you meet with us, it would be helpful for us to know a bit about you and your reasons for considering a move. You may like to print off and complete the Enquiry Form and bring it along with you. Please remember that all personal information is treated with the utmost confidentiality. |
What else will Retirement Living Solutions want to know?
Before we can provide you with advice, we will require some information from you.
The type of information we will need to know will include:
- Your current and future income
- Your current living expenses
- Assets and liabilities
- Superannuation and insurance figures
- Any health or external issues that are likely to impact on your financial situation in the near future
- Business information relating to the Retirement Village (s) that you are considering
To help answer these questions, it would be helpful for you to provide the following information when you meet with us.
- Income – investment returns, pension payments, rental property income
- Household expenses – rates, rent, home and contents insurance, utilities (water, electricity, telephone, gas)
- Car expenses – car loan repayments, insurance, servicing, fuel
- Personal expenses – food, entertainment, clothing, travel, other living expenses
- Health – insurance, medical expenses, pharmaceuticals
- Assets – your home, investment property, boat, caravan, shares, investment funds
- Superannuation – contributions, balance, bank account balances
- Loans – mortgages, credit cards
- Business interests and family trusts
- Brochures, information sheets, draft contracts &c. from the Retirement Villages that you are contemplating as options for your future accommodation
It may be worthwhile for you to have a family member with you when you discuss your circumstances with us. Two heads are often better than one!
